Rants, repairs, and realness. Pull up a chair.
I’m Christopher Moore: a father of five, Marine Corps combat veteran, diesel mechanic, independent voter, and writer. I spent years diagnosing trucks by following the evidence instead of trusting the first loud opinion in the room. Now I bring that same habit to politics, work, belief, and the mess of being human.
I swear. I ask inconvenient questions. I change my mind when the evidence earns it. You don’t need to agree with me to belong here.
Start with these
- Torque Over Talk — how a diagnostic mechanic thinks about truth.
- Polarization: A Mechanical Failure — what happens when we ignore the warning signs.
- Who the Hell Is Cornhusker Majority? — following the money behind a Nebraska political mailer.
- Creation? Intelligent Design? — an electrician follows the circuit until the schematic runs out.
- The War That Rewired Our Brains — a longer piece about service, toxic exposure, and what veterans carry home.
Pick a lane, or don’t
- Politics & society — independent thinking, power, media, and tribalism.
- Shop & working life — mechanics, labor, and blue collar philosophy.
- Life & belief — family, mental health, faith, and the questions that keep me awake.
- Humor & culture — satire, music, football, and whatever else wandered into the shop.
