I’ve seen America from many angles. Church pews. Prison cells. Combat zones. Shop floors. Canyons to mountain tops. Swamps to cornfields. Beaches to tundras. Ghettos to penthouses. I’ve hauled more weight on my back, in my hands, and in my head than most people can even imagine. And through it all, my code has never changed: help whoever I can, however I can, whenever I can, no matter their circumstances. No jerseys. No labels. No puppet strings. Just a man doing his part and watching everyone else play make-believe with their “teams.”
I hold every value both sides brag about: hard work, sacrifice, service, integrity, humanity, loyalty. They all love those words until they figure out I don’t bend the knee to their preacher, their party boss, their social media cult, or their dollar. Then suddenly, I’m “the enemy.” Overnight, my IQ drops 90 points in their eyes—until their car breaks down or their roof caves in, then suddenly I’m a genius again.
The truth is:
All extremists are dangerous and toxic.
Extreme liberals? Grown toddlers. Crying, stomping, demanding safe spaces, confusing feelings for facts, and lighting everything on fire with no clue how to build a damn thing from scratch.
Extreme conservatives? Racist, greedy, waving flags to cover up corruption, preaching “tradition” while grinding people under their boots. They scream about toughness, but I’ve run conservative “tough guys” into the dirt before lunch more times than I can count. They’re not tough, they’re spoiled.
Let’s wreck some illusions: conservatives have more whiny, entitled little bitches than liberals do. I’ve been in the trenches with them. They whine about “snowflakes” while exploiting the less fortunate, demanding corporate handouts, and crying foul every time someone challenges their fragile worldview. They’ve got victimhood down to a damn art form.
Liberals throw tantrums in public. Conservatives throw them in private while pretending to be stoic patriots. Two sides of the same toxic coin. Both love the drama. Both live off chaos. Both are dead weight dragging this country down.
But here’s the part that matters: most Americans aren’t extreme. We’re not burning flags or plotting theocracy. We’re slightly left or right of center, just trying to raise families, cut lawns, pay bills, and survive five-dollar gas. And you know what? We get along just fine. We share beers, swap tools, coach Little League, and stop to help strangers on the side of the road. Nobody gives a damn who you voted for when your car won’t start.
That’s America. That’s freedom. And that’s exactly what neither extreme actually wants you to have. Liberals scream about rights while silencing everyone who disagrees. Conservatives scream about freedom while shoving their religion and their laws down your throat. Both forgot what liberty actually is: living your life without some politician, preacher, or bureaucrat putting a boot on your neck or a hand in your pocket.
So no, I don’t play for either team. I don’t owe loyalty or allegiance to liars, grifters, or cult leaders in suits. Call me liberal, conservative, centrist, outsider, whatever the hell makes you feel safe yet superior. None of it sticks. I’m not your pawn. I’m not your label. And I’m not dumb enough to keep pretending your team jersey means anything in a rigged game.
You’ve all been played. You’ve been sold division while your rights get stripped, your paychecks get drained, and your freedom gets strangled. You’ve been distracted with culture wars while the same fat bastards you cheer for cash out at the top.
Scream at me, label me, cancel me, call me names, cry in the corner. I don’t care. I’ve lived with your bullshit for decades. Now it’s your turn to choke on a little truth. If your political stance is hating half of America, your political stance is trash…and your feelings will be significantly hurt when you discover the majority thinks just like I do.
That’s what a free man sounds like…give it a try.
