About me
I’m Chris — father of five, Marine Corps veteran, diesel mechanic by trade, and the guy behind The Gun Loving Hippie Dad Who Fixes Stuff.
This site started as a place to blow off steam and tell the truth the way I see it — raw, real, and with a little sarcasm sprinkled on top. What you’ll find here isn’t polished influencer content or corporate-safe messaging. It’s life, unfiltered.
I’ve been through the mud — a felony past, burnout, therapy, rebuilding from the ground up. I’ve fixed busted engines, broken systems, and my own damn mindset more times than I can count. Somewhere along the way, I realized there’s power in being honest, especially in a world that rewards fakery.
So this is my digital garage — part blog, part soapbox, part therapy. I talk politics, mental health, music, fatherhood, and anything else that deserves a spotlight or a middle finger.
If you’re into common sense, dark humor, and calling it like it is — grab a wrench, light a cigar, and stick around.
